JennaMarie Warfield is a passionate performer, musician, and educator who strives to share her love for the beauty and power of music with everyone she meets.
An active performer, Ms. Warfield can be heard with the Manassas Symphony Orchestra, Old Bridge Chamber Orchestra and the Symphony of Northern Virginia. As a soloist, Ms. Warfield was a Competition Winner and Soloist with the Mason Wind Symphony and a finalist in the 2012 Louis Vyner Competition. She has previously won second place in the International Masters Players Soloist Competition at the University of Delaware, and been selected for the NFA Performers Masterclass competition. Additionally, she has performed in a masterclass for Julius Baker and been featured on multiple occasions in the New England Conservatory Summer Metropolitan Flute Festival Orchestra.
In addition to performing, Ms. Warfield enjoys maintaining her private flute and piano studio in Northern Virginia. Many of her students have placed in district bands, won local competitions, and continued their music education at schools such as Shenandoah Music Conservatory and Berklee School of Music.
Ms. Warfield received a BA from Millersville University, where she majored in music performance. She received her MM in Music Performance from George Mason University. Her primary teachers include Julianna Nickel, Dr. William Montgomery, Joel Behrens, Lana Behrens, and Dr. Linda Kirkpatrick.
